The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years onshore experience, managing a team and overseeing delivery of contracts within offshore marine services sector.

Company provides a comprehensive range of marine services to the offshore, oil and petrochemical industries. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be based at the Head Office, at UAE and will be responsible for the effective management of a professional team that is jointly responsible for delivery of Contracts and the effective management of a Fleet of Vessels.
Responsibilities will include:
Evaluate, review and amend vessel planned maintenance programmes to achieve maximum utilization and prevent unplanned downtime.
Formulate and Monitor annual Repair, Maintenance, Docking Budget and Forecasts for assigned Fleet.
Produce Action Plans for the continous improvement of safety performance, operational performance, customer satisfaction, contract profitability and progress towards set objectives with concerned parties.
Introduce initiatives that will improve our service to our customers and increase long and short term profitability.
Ensure the complete compliance of all-regional vessels and assets with Company, customers and legislative requirements at all times.
Submit up-to-date detailed reports after customer contact visits, vessel visits, breakdowns, repairs and dockings.
Develop a team that are highly motivated and evaluate the performance of individuals to identify training needs for current job and development for future roles.
Review any individual or team underperformance with concerned parties and implement improvement initiatives with given deadlines.
Implement disciplinary procedure in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager and Group HR.
Ensure all operations are undertaken in a safe manner and in compliance with the company policies and operating procedures, at all times.
Maintain operations within budgeted levels and identify opportunistic savings, which do not have an adverse impact on service levels.
Ensure that vessels are maintained to full class, ISM and statutory standards at all times.
Promote, monitor and evaluate safety performance and work in close co-operation with the Group QA & HSE Manager to ensure operational and vessel personnel understand, comply and drive forward safety standards and safe working practices.
Formulate accurate operational and revenue budgets and forecasts for designated contracts.
Control costs and actively seek and implement ways in which to reduce costs and maximize revenue without comprising standards of work.
Verify, approve and process requisitions and invoices within specific financial approval limits.
Identify and ensure potential insurance and warranty claims are processed and closed out in a timely manner.
Ensure company compliance with country legal, fiscal, government and statutory requirements which directly pertain to marine operations.
